Desperate Cry for Help 041So I bought this little electronic gizmo, and they tell me that it will hold every song, every note, every noise, ever created by the human race. It's so light in my pocket that I can't feel it and it's got the shittiest navigation software in the entire world. So, I've got the entire auditory creative output of the human race in my shirt pocket and due to bad software design I can't find anything I want to listen to. So I just set the thing to Shuffle and have to put up with lots of 80s pop music mixed in with random symphonies from Handel. I walk down the streets in a zombie haze. My eyes glazed over. Trance music pumping into my ears from my tiny electronic god. And I realize, I don't need anyone. Just hook this little white thing up to my laptop, listen to the world how I want it, and leave the rest of this nasty world behind. It's got great battery life, too. |
