They talk about creativity without limits, but usually they just deliver crap. That's the thing with creativity; you need some limits in there - some rigidly defined areas of normal. And the second you transgress these written-in-stone, for the benefit of us all so we can all play safely on the swing, rules, then a man with a billy club should kick your fucking ass.

I'm not pro-violence, but those people who don't color in the lines usually turn out to be serial killers anyway. I think that the guys who used to color pigs blue and make the sky pink and used to draw green hay and vibrant magenta chickens... those guys are probably all dead, and homosexual now.

Homosexual dead guys, man. That's where creativity without limits gets ya. Pretty soon, you are just surrounded by homosexual, deceased people with a confusing array of Crayola.

And I think when they make me walk the straight, and narrow, and boring, and make me take pills if I think of a silly idea, they are just doing this all for my protection.

Art needs protection.
